philosophy:  2 c. flour, 2/3 c. brown sugar, 1/3 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. ground ginger, 1/2 c. melted butter, 1/2 c. cooked pumpkin, 1/3 c. buttermilk, 2 eggs- slightly beaten.  heat oven to 400 degrees. stir together all ingredients except butter, pumpkin, buttermilk and eggs, in large bowl.  stir together all remaining ingredients in medium bowl.  stir into flour mixture just until moistened.  spoon batter into greased muffin pan.  bake for 15-20 min.  or until toothpick comes out clean.  cool 5 minutes; remove from pan.
