This seems to be working well for my son's eczema. I've been using it for myself as well for dry skin during the wintertime, and it works nicely. It's the only lotion that has worked so far for my son--the heavy creams before just seemed to cover up his skin, but never had any lasting results.

My 4 year old son has suffered from eczema his whole life. His doctors gave us recommendations, but none of them worked, or were too greasy, or contained questionable ingredients, and some were just too harsh. For several years I've relied on Aveeno products (shampoo, baby wash, moisture cream) to keep the eczema under control. But his eczema was still a problem. I had to apply the cream sometimes 3 times a day. Recently I discovered that some of the ingredients in Aveeno could have been aggravating his eczema. I changed his soap and shampoo to an organic line (Jason)and switched his lotion to ShiKai, and he hasn't had one sign of eczema since. (I should also add that I have "greened" our household almost entirely. I use organic laundry detergent on everything. I'm sure this has helped with the eczema.) I wish I had figured this out years ago.

I have extremely dry, sensitive, allergic skin, and I use this lotion. Eczema, folliculitus, you name it; I'll get it if I'm not careful. I'm 25 years old and I can also use their adult formula with no irritation, but I just happen to like this one even better, I think because it has no vitamin C. I have tried maybe 50 different brands, and this lotion is the best on the market for very dry, delicate skin. I can't even use products like the dermatologist recommended, such as Cetaphil because I'm so sensitive, and the Shikai fragrance free products are an answer to prayer. They make a fragrance free shower gel that I use for everything, even as a shampoo. And it's amazing also with a lot of lather and no irritation or drying. I LOVE SHIKAI!!

My young child had developed eczema, for which we had tried numerous other lotions,creams, and oils without improvement. Some other products made the skin feel more greasy or moist, however the eczema and associated itching and burning/irritation remained a huge problem. We switched to this for one last try before proceeding with prescription agents, and this worked! Over about a month, the eczema improved dramatically and ultimately remained completely gone; we can now use this only periodically to keep his skin looking and feeling great, without further itching/burning. I would highly recommend it!

This is a very hydrating lotion that was recommended by my doctor and works great on my eczema-prone children's UNBROKEN skin. If the skin is broken or they've been scratching, it will burn. Therefore, it's best for maintenance of clear skin. I haven't found another lotion that seems to penetrate the skin with as much moisture. Works best followed by Aquaphor to seal in the moisture.

I cannot express how happy I am with this lotion. I have tried so many products and other things to help my daughter's eczema. We were ready to go get her tested for allergies until I used this product. Her skin was so soft within a few days of using it. We coat her with it 2 times a day, and her eczema is almost gone. She doesn't scratch her self to bleeding anymore. My only complaint if any is that there is Diazolidinyl Urea & Methylparaben in it which aren't the best, but because it works so well, it is worth it.
