I didn't think that it would make a difference, so I recently purchased the drugstore brand instead simply because they were cheaper. They were not effective at all. The Biore brand is the only one that really works. I don't feel that I have a huge problem with blackheads, but when I peel the strip off my nose, I can visibly see the stuff that came out of my pores. This is one product that is worth paying the price for the name brand.

I used these strips when they first came out in the mid to late 90s and they were a Godsend but these days they are totally useless. I'm not sure if they were originally too harsh or chemical laden and they decided to reformulate but whatever used to be in them worked fantastically for my skin. These days, it's a waste of money for my combo skin. Thankfully, I've found a great cleanser (Kiss My Face' Obsessively Organic Startup for Normal to Oily) that is keeping my blackheads at bay. I will echo others' sentiments that despite being called "Ultra" and featuring Tea tree Oil. the "Ultra" variety is even less effective than the "Original" formula.

I used pore strips when they first came out on the market years ago and was definitely not happy. I decided to try them again and these work well. You can actually see the mess it pulls out of your pores after you take it off. Make sure you follow the 15-minute rule strictly or it is somewhat painful. My only complaint is that even though you can see that it did pull stuff from your pores, the look of my skin did not change much.

It's safe to say that this product is a waste of money and doesn't do what it should. The useless place of Salicylic Acid in it is extremely drying and made my skin peel, and the strip took forever to dry and didn't remove too many blackheads/whiteheads. I recommend Pond's Clear Solutions Clear Pore Strips. They're 100% better.

Buy only the ULTRA ones! Not these!

Have used these for years ever since they first came out. They worked excellent and did remove everything in the pores like they said. Then... they felt the need to remake them and they sell 2 of these same kinds, and on one box it will state ULTRA and that is the only one now that works for me; not this one! It pulls off the same but nothing comes off with these for me! I can then use one of the Ultra ones and it all cleans out every pore. They also make boxes of them specifically for the NOSE and also for the FACE, the ULTRA ones are like the original pore strips!

all you have to do is wash your face and apply to wet skin. You can go about your day for 15 minutes until it is dry and hard. Then you remove it and the black heads are pulled out and your nose is a bit clearer. with repetative use over time your black heads clear up to a minimal amount and I don't feel like it takes any time out of my day. The only down side is the bit of a numbing sting it has after you pull off the strip but it gets easier to deal with when you use the product regularly.

I've tried everything, including pricey facials at the best dermatologists (what a waste)...this is THE most effective tool for ridding stubborn black&whiteheads. Not all of them, mind you, but almost! I use clean&clear afterwards and then Biore minimizing moisturizer afterwards. I've noticed a SIGNIFICANT improvement in the T-zone so much that my husband wants me to now be his dermatologist w/the same procedure! At a FRACTION of the cost, of course!

the pore strips work so amazingly! There's so many products out there that claim they'll remove blackheads and whiteheads but none worked for me except for these strips. I'm always surprised by how much one strip will remove! Of course, it hurts to remove the strip from your nose (in fact, a tear even fell out of my eye the first time I used these, haha) but the irritation goes away in less than half an hour, especially if you put something cold against it. The skin on my nose is not only cleaner, but also a lot smoother too so now its a lot easier to apply makeup on my nose area

The reason I don't really care for this product is simply because it was as if I had never even used it! I tried this multiple times and I didn't feel any skin sensational tingly feelings or an improvement in my skin. It was just the same, but more irritated from the tape-like strips, this is like putting tape on my skin, waiting, then ripping it off painfully! I don't like it, did nothing for me, why bother with more orders of these "helpful" strips?!
